At MINUS-8, we are constantly pushing the boundaries of traditional watch design and nowhere is this more apparent than our Diver collection. In a sea of copycat divers and designs that lean heavily on the past, we are forging a new path and taking a modern approach.
While building our latest timepiece and considering the evolution of dive watch design, we never lost focus on the traditional features that make a Diver great: legibility, durability and versatility. You can see this executed in the premium materials and ultra-reliable components used to build Diver 2.0. In our latest collection, we moved the screw-down crown to the 4 o’clock position to make it as comfortable as possible on the wrist. We also went back to our most accurate and reliable movement, the Japanese made Seiko NH35. And as an optional item, we built a super durable rubber strap with titanium hardware, giving customers a soft alternative to the all-titanium bracelet. The team did not compromise on any component, feature or function during the design and development of Diver 2.0.

Titanium: Corrosion resistant, lightweight and strong as steel, titanium was our first (and only) choice for the case and bracelet. For a Dive watch intended to handle the extremes, we found it to be the perfect material.

30 ATM: Diver 2.0 was built to excel in the water with a dive rating of 1,000 feet / 300 M. But we did not stop there. We also built in a helium release valve to prevent damage during resurfacing, a rotating dive timer bezel and a screw-down crown.

Sapphire Crystal: Scratch resistance and an ultra-clear view made sapphire a no-brainer for our high-performance dive watch. It is a super durable material that combines flawlessly with our high-contrast dial and 3-layers of anti-reflective coating to make Diver 2.0 easy to read at all times.

Super-LumiNova: Easily legible hands and markings are critical for a dive at any depth. We spec’d our Diver with the best lume in the market, Swiss-made Super-LumiNova(™), to ensure the brightest and clearest view of the dial in the dark.
