We built Field 1S to be rugged, reliable and ready for anything.
Our latest field watch is designed with a fixed-lug construction, manufactured using a single-piece of PVD coated 316L stainless steel. The case is machined out of a block of steel, to limit the number of moving parts (no pins). This makes the watch ultra-strong and ultra-durable, even in the toughest environments.
The dial is enclosed behind a super-strong and scratch-resistant, custom-built sapphire crystal, to keep it protected. Before assembly, 3 layers of Anti-Reflective (AR) coating are applied to the crystal, to make sure the dial can be viewed anytime, anywhere.
To ensure the ultimate performance and security in and out of the water, we built Field 1S with a screw-down crown, combined with crown protection. Our latest field watch is designed to perform at 20ATM/200 Meters, so wear it with confidence, everywhere you want and never worry.
Accuracy is an absolute must for an everyday field watch, which is why Field 1S uses a premium automatic movement, the Japanese-made Seiko NH35. It is our favorite movement here at MINUS-8 for a reason, it’s unmatched performance. The movement is reliable, accurate and built to stand the test of time.
A true field watch needs to be comfortable and secure for extended, all-day wear. We fitted Field 1S with a sturdy, dual-layer, coated nylon nato strap that is super durable. It is built to handle the elements and never fall off.
Luminosity is something we take seriously here at MINUS-8 and with Field 1S, we spent a lot of time getting the lume brightness and colors just right. This meant sparing no expense to use the best lume in the market, Swiss Super-LumiNova(™). However, we didn’t stop there. We created custom lume colors for the dial and hands, to deliver a distinct MINUS-8 look that is easily viewable, anytime.
